We were established in HK in 1998 by someone who understood the value of an airport lounge and felt that the experience shouldn't just be limited to a closed-circuit group of travelers. Almost 25 years later we now span four core business segments : airport lounges, airport terminal hotels, airport meet & greet services, and a range of airport dining concepts.
In addition to our own brands, PPG provides airport hospitality solutions to leading airlines, alliances and corporates around the world. Cathay Pacific Airways, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa etc.
This role involves managing the team of stewards, controlling inventory of cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment, ensuring adherence to HACCP and Local Food Safety standards, and supporting kitchen operations by maintaining smooth logistics between kitchen and service areas.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of all kitchen stewards and External Utility staff (If any).
Support kitchen and Buffet operations by ensuring timely availability of clean and functional kitchen tools and equipment.
Enforce and monitor compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP, Local Municipality regulations, etc.).
Coordinate pest control and waste management programs, as per Policy.
Train, motivate, and discipline stewarding staff to ensure high performance and productivity.
Control inventory and usage of cleaning materials, Tools, and kitchen equipment.
Coordinate with Procurement and stores for replenishment of stewarding materials.
Support setup and breakdown of buffet lines, banquets, and large functions.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in stewarding, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or chief stewarding role.
Basic computer literacy for reporting and inventory management.
Experience in hotels, resorts, or large-scale catering operations preferred.
Fluent in both Spanish and English.
