Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester with a strong background in testing Kubernetes and multi-cluster environments. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for cloud-native applications deployed in complex containerized ecosystems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to ensure our software solutions meet the highest standards of functionality, scalability, and reliability in distributed Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Strategy :

Develop detailed testing strategies and plans specific to Kubernetes-based and multi-cluster environments.

Create and maintain test cases tailored to Kubernetes clusters, focusing on container orchestration, resource scaling, networking, and cluster resiliency.

Conduct functional, integration, and system testing for containerized workloads across multiple clusters.

Identify and document issues related to Kubernetes configurations, networking, and container orchestration.

Build and maintain automation frameworks for testing Kubernetes workloads using tools like Helm, kubectl, and Kubernetes APIs.

Mentor junior testers on Kubernetes-related testing strategies and best practices.

Provide detailed reports on test coverage, results, and metrics related to Kubernetes-based applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focusing on Kubernetes and containerized applications.

In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with monitoring and debugging tools like Jaeger, ELK stack, or Datadog.
