SAP PPDS

Overview

Masentó are working with a leading client based in Europe who are embarking on a Greenfield S / 4 transformation project and require an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant to support the programme. This is a remote-based contract; the client would prefer someone based in the Spain / Portugal region in case travel to a client site is needed. The initial contract is 6 months with a view to extension for a further 12 months, starting in the coming weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP PPDS hands-on support in rollouts and support projects.
• Configure and test APO Production Planning heuristics, including functionality, business processes, and production orders / planned orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center, and Production Version.
• Work with S / 4 HANA Embedded PPDS and have knowledge of energy industry context where relevant.
• Contribute to end-to-end implementations (1 to 2 projects) and handle PPDS configurations such as MRP, planning board, DS board, profiles, PPDS Subcontracting, alerts configuration & monitoring.
• Manage master data distribution for work centers / resources, production versions, PPMs, PDS, capacities, and CIF-ing between ECC and APO.
• Support Production Orders / Planned Orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Version; plan materials using SAP MRP and LT / P.
• Prepare configuration documentation, unit test scripts, integration test scripts, and user manuals.
