Offer Description

A project technician contract in lifelong learning.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for :

Supporting the Lifelong Learning Coordinator in planning and implementing training programmes.

  • Managing the MOODLE platform : setting up courses, uploading resources and solving minor technical issues. Working alongside the UIB Campus Digital team.
  • Collaborating with lecturers and experts in adapting digital content and learning assessments.
  • Attending meetings with internal and external teams to ensure the area’s goals are attained.
  • Skills : leadership and pedagogic creativity; the ability to use and adapt to different technology; effective communication skills; the ability to work alongside lecturers, admin staff and students; teamwork skills; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in learning environments; active listening and assertiveness; the ability to detect needs and propose effective solutions.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must have a degree in any of the following areas or similar :

  • Pedagogy; psychopedagogy or education sciences
  • Education technology or e-learning
  • Staff training and educational innovation
  • Business administration and management (with a specialisation in training or educational management)
  • Systems or informatics engineering
  • Audiovisual communication
  • Fine art (with a speciality in design) or design
  • Other qualifications proving skills or experience in developing online content geared towards promoting or providing updated skills in the workplace.
  • Particular consideration will be given to candidates with postgraduate qualifications in digital education, educational project management or pedagogical innovation.

    Specific Requirements

    Solid command of learning platforms, especially MOODLE (or a willingness to quickly learn about them).

    C1 Catalan or higher (essential).

    B2 English or higher (particularly for reading and understanding technical documents).

    Prior experience

    Experience planning and implementing training programmes.

  • Experience designing and developing blended, inperson and online learning resources and strategies.
  • Years of Research Experience 1 - 4

    Salary and Contract Details

    Internal Application form(s) needed

    Gross monthly salary : 1.661,89 €

    Compensation may be higher where the successful candidate accredits recognised professional experience.

    Eligibility criteria

  • Curricular merits in the field (max. 40 points).
  • Qualifications in the specialist area (max. 20 points), other (max. 5 points).
  • Video curriculum and, if applicable, personal interview (max. 20 points).
  • Experience in the field (max. 15 points). E.g. : >
  • 3 years (10 points),

  • Other merits (max. +5 points). E.g. : recommendation letters.
  • Eligibility threshold : 60 points.
  • Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non-EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non-EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring. The equivalence can be requested from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of Spain (see ).

    Selection process

    In accordance with article 8 of the REGULATORY AGREEMENT of 15th June 2022 that approves the regulation governing the recruitment of research staff under chapter 6 allocation of the university budget, as well as technical or operational research staff.

    Selection committee

    i. The relevant Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research (or person s / he delegates), as chair. ii. The management team for the relevant department. iii. The members of the Research Area Assessment Committee (CARAI). iv. Three experts in the field pertaining to recruitment, where appropriate, appointed by the chair of the committee, having heard from the management team of the department. v. The head of the Management Office for the Research Promotion and Human Resources Programme (or person s / he delegates), acting as secretary, who may speak but not vote.
