Position overview :

The Production Team Leader will ensure efficient production development throughout the shift by coordinating and supervising people and material resources.

Please note the role requires availability to work a 4th shift schedule, which consists of rotating 12-hour shifts, including two weekends per month and any public holidays that fall within the rotation.

Key responsibilities include :

• Supervise production operations to meet productivity and quality objectives.
• Perform continuous and systematic production monitoring, including the volume produced on each line and managing line interruption situations - implementing corrective measures at the right time.
• Organize production priorities and follow instructions from the Production Manager to ensure smooth shift operations, monitoring and ensuring efficient and standardized execution of changeovers.
• Responsible for station handover and preparing the shift report, including issues related to safety, quality, and maintenance / equipment.
• Focus on reducing spoilage and minimizing machine downtime.
• Lead the production and shift team to ensure organization, performance, and a positive work environment.
• Manage team members to meet daily production schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of operators across workstations and reallocating staff as necessary to maintain operations and request shift changes or overtime in line with company policies.
• Provide regular feedback to employees, including those in trial periods, and verify personnel attendance at the start of the shift, monitoring operators’ presence at their workstations.
• Monitor maintenance operations for machinery and facilities to ensure proper functioning and coordinate actions with the maintenance department in case of breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety standards in production and packaging processes.
