Knitwear Designer with Sales Expertise

We are a trend-driven fashion garment company specializing in knitwear collections for international clients. Our work blends creativity, agility, and commercial impact. We’re looking for a talented Knitwear Designer who combines design innovation with strong client-facing and sales skills.

Our headquarters are located in China, in Ningbo

Candidates must be open to international travel, particularly to China, to engage with our team and participate in development activities.

Responsibilities

Design original knitwear collections aligned with client needs and market trends

Seasonal Development Preparation : Organize and prepare fabric swatches and sample garments ahead of each quarterly development season.

Design Collaboration : Participate in customer design meetings, supporting designers in finalizing their drafts and translating concepts into tangible samples.

Post-Meeting Coordination : Liaise with internal business teams and printmakers to ensure accurate style execution, manage sample lists, and oversee quality checks.

Client Engagement : Maintain close communication with ZARA’s design team, including on-site visits to their office in A Coruña to strengthen collaboration and ensure alignment

Analyze yarns, textures, colors, and silhouettes to anticipate future directions

Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular visits and feedback

Collaborate with China and production teams to ensure product quality and feasibility

Travel for sourcing, trend research, and client meetings (Europe & Asia)

Requirements

Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent, ideally with a knitwear focus

Minimum 3 years of experience in knitwear design

Strong skills in Illustrator and hand sketching

Fluent in English; Spanish

Experience with Zara / Inditex or similar fast-fashion brands is a major asset

Proven sales abilities and presentation skills

Strong background in fast fashion
