Overview
Dornan in Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain, is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Lead to work on a large data centre project. The role is with Dornan on behalf of Turner Construction, a global leader in construction services. You will be placed directly on Turner's project team and work alongside top‑tier professionals on some of the most advanced builds in the region.
Current roles are primarily based in Madrid, with future opportunities expected elsewhere in Europe. Depending on your role, you may be site-based (with relocation support if needed) or offered remote working options, which will be clarified during the interview process.
Your day to day will include responsibilities as described below.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the project Quality Plan and system inspection and test plans in line with the Client's specifications.
- Interpret and communicate the contract Quality requirements to the project team and functions supporting the project.
- Provide guidance on the implementation requirements.
- Coordinate with the client on all quality‑related issues to ensure a consistent approach to client relationships and to investigate customer queries and complaints.
- Coordinate the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the Project inspection and test programs and associated witness points on a system by system basis.
- Manage the client’s attendance at the agreed inspection and / or witness points in accordance with the project contract and handover programme.
- Coordinate the resolution of all matters pertaining to Quality at the Project Management Team and project supervisor levels.
- Coordinate the handover of all Quality Records to the Client on a system by system basis.
- Promote good quality through team training sessions and benchmark activities.
- Implement a structured approach towards systems handover and project completion.
