Architecture & Innovation Lead

The opportunity As Architecture & Innovation Lead you are part of the overall IT Service BST Organisation. In this role, you will be coordinating, planning and steering, by representing the IT architectural authority and guiding the end-to-end business application architecture development and maintenance for a ServiceBusiness Unit, based on business processes and while utilizing innovative approaches and technologies. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities to determine the future state ofthe BU’s Applicationlandscapeand engages wherever and whomever necessary to help guideproject / deliveryteams toachievethe future state.You will foster latest and innovative technology usage in a pragmatic and cost-efficient way.

How you will make an impact : Accountable for developing, documenting and communicating the adaptive IT architecture, standardsand roadmap for business applications of the BU

Ensure that all IT applications, solution designs and components fit together end-to-end from a business and technical perspective and support the requirements of the BU. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects for Business Applications to drive towards common global applications and standards and to align related architectures across BUs

Collaborate with Enterprise Architects across Hitachi Energy to establish and maintain a consistent Enterprise Architecture overall

Collaborate across IT teams to develop the lifecycle roadmap for IT solutions and guide its implementation

Engage with business and IT stakeholders to develop data architecture for the BU

Interacts with functional / business unit stakeholders to develop and maintain Service Business Unit enterprise architecture landscape based on business processes and enterprise data flows

Guides Service BST Project Delivery and Implementation teams to ensure program and project delivery following agreed enterprise architecture

Contribute to Hitachi Energy Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice by supporting development and improvement of architecture processes, practices etc.

Your background : Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 15 years profound experience in IT technologyincluding minimum 10 year’s experience in IT within service organizations with a global and multinational footprint

Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise architecture, innovation management or technology scouting

Familiar with service oriented business processes end-to-end

Excellent leadership and communication skills necessary to engage with business and non-IT stakeholders,

Familiar with key IT technologies and areas for service delivery organizations

Used to work in large global geographically distributed organisations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and fluent English
