Purchasing Manager – Pharmaceutical Industry

Position Overview :
We are seeking a Purchasing Manager with strong experience in the Pharmaceutical industry to lead the procurement strategy for materials, services, and technical equipment in compliance with GMP standards. You will be responsible for negotiating with national and international suppliers, ensuring supply quality, and optimizing costs without compromising compliance or critical production timelines.

Responsibilities :
Manage the full procurement cycle (request, negotiation, approval, receipt).
Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers of raw materials, packaging components, and technical services.
Ensure GMP compliance of all purchased materials.
Lead supplier qualification, evaluation, and audit processes.
Optimize stock levels and prevent shortages that could impact production.
Analyze costs and propose cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement actions.
Manage contracts, framework agreements, and price reviews.
Maintain accurate documentation, purchase orders, and records within the ERP system (SAP Business One).
Collaborate closely with Quality, Production, Regulatory, Logistics, and R&D teams.
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or related industry.
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, or related field.
Solid knowledge of GMP.
English level B2–C1, capable of negotiating with international suppliers.
Advanced user of ERP systems such as SAP Business One and proficient in Excel.
Valuable : experience with APIs, excipients, sterile packaging, laboratory consumables, or GMP equipment.
