SAP Data Specialist

Overview

A large international organisation seeks a SAP Data Specialist to play a key role in solving complex reporting challenges and enhancing its enterprise wide business intelligence function. Based in Malaga, Spain, in a flat structure and with global scope, the role will be the bridge between the core source systems SAP S / 4HANA and the Power BI reporting solution. Potential candidates should be expert in accessing data within SAP data tables and views, be capable of creating large complex data models, and ideally be able to modify in cloud environments. The role will be cross functional and benefit from hybrid working. It will be hands-on technical, with significant career growth opportunities, potentially into management.

Responsibilities

Support and optimize reporting processes by connecting SAP S / 4HANA data to the Power BI environment. Design and implement large, complex data models and data pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of BI insights. Work in both on-premises and cloud environments as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years working with SAP S / 4HANA data sets, SAP base tables and complex models, including knowledge of filters and flags.
• Experience with Power BI in a large enterprise environment with very large data models; familiarity with advanced features such as XMLA endpoints and composite models.
• Knowledge of Tabular Editor 3 or equivalent is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional level in English is essential; Spanish and / or French and / or German language skills are beneficial.
