We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team within the Scientific Innovation Office (SIO), the R&D organization of Grifols Biopharma. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various development projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of driving projects to successful completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Project Investment decisions (start, end, stage-gate)
Coordinate cross-functional team through the Business Case evaluations for project investment decisions (start, end and stage-gate), following the D&T stage-gated process (DP1 to DP5).
Ensure clear recommendations for Top management decision-making and efficient process (strategic, agile).Partner with all functions, but particularly with Technical Lead (responsible for Technical Strategy), Global Marketing (responsible for Business Requirements) and Controlling (responsible for Financial Model).Develop and maintain the Project Scope, Development Plan and Target Product Profile (TPP) with input from key stakeholders. Facilitate and manage the agreement from team members to line management. Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and archived appropriately.Set-up a cross-functional team. Ensure team members’ roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.Project ExecutionCoordinate cross-functional teams from project initiation to closure, ensuring R&D project alignment with company goals, business and regulatory requirements.
Plan, track, report and adjust project schedules at both the workstream detail level and rolled-up levels. Identify and manage the critical path activities.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure mitigation strategies. Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management.Manage project teams to steer toward effective governance decisions in project steering committees with Senior Executive Leadership.Cross-functional leadership and teamworkCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and alignment between senior management decisions and project plans.
Build strong relationships across the organization and ensure engagement at all levels prior to key decisions.Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and innovative project environment.Elevate excellence of project execution and portfolio management by leading or participating in improvement initiatives.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration).3 to 5 years of R&D Project Management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical R&D processes, product development cycles, and innovation management. Proven track record of successfully managing complex Pharma R&D projects.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with exposure to Senior Executive Leadership.Strong interpersonal skills to influence, build consensus and moderate conflict. Steer towards results and solutions.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Well developed planning skills, with knowledge of PM software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Projects).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in Spanish and English.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.Education (Bachelor or Master) in a Life Science field or career experience in a technical R&D position (e.g., clinical, product / process development) is a plus.What We Offer

Flexibility for U Program : Hybrid Model
Flexible schedule : Monday-Thursday 7-10 to 16-19h and Friday 8-15h (with the same flexible start time).
