Regional Brand Marketing Specialist - (German speaking) Kaplan Language Group (KLG) provides high-quality, language-travel programs across the world through its four brands, Kaplan International Languages, Alpadia Language Schools, ESL Education, and Azurlinga. All are recognized leaders in the educational travel sector, committed to offering high-quality, immersive language experiences to students from over 100 countries.

We are now looking to recruit a talented Marketing Specialist (German speaking) whose focus will be to support, sustain and grow the strong presence of our brands in Italy, whilst also providing operational support for projects in other regions. The position is based within the regional brand team, reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager Europe (BE, FR, IT, SP). The role involves working with an international team, based in offices across the world and offers extensive exposure to international marketing, using a variety of digital and traditional offline channels.

Job Description Creating and implementing a marketing activity calendar to drive leads and conversion efforts through online and offline channels

Supporting the development and implementation of regional branding projects, with focus on growing revenue and ROI

General marketing research, including competitor activity monitoring, to create new and creative campaign ideas

Working with the content, email, design, and web teams to develop digital campaigns

Website and blog management : writing, translating, and proofreading content

Writing compelling content for partners

Outreach, digital PR, contests and raffles, and best practice industry trends

Sourcing, securing and managing sponsorship / blogger partnerships / influencers

Social media planning, research, and execution

Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships

Organizing events such as conferences, seminars, webinars, and exhibitions

Supporting the development of SEO strategy, including seed content and link building

Monitoring KPIs related to brand searches, website traffic, and leads generation

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above (desirable)

Spoken and written fluency in English and German

Relevant marketing or brand experience

Keen interest in online trends, technology, social media, blogs, and travel

Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas

Experience and passion in creating content

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines

Proven success in applying strategy, using marketing channels with focus on reaching targets

Experience with website analytics tools

Knowledge of HTML, website management (CMS), and mass email (CRM)

PPC and best performance media practice (desirable)

Complementary experience of offline marketing (desirable)

High levels of energy and self-motivation

Self-awareness

Teamworking skills and innovative approach

Additional Information This is a full-time position based in Barcelona. You will be fully supported in your role with ongoing coaching and training from your colleagues and managers.
