We are seeking a motivated and analytically strong professional to join our team as a Regional Market Strategy Analyst – Europe, with the automotive industry related experience as a must. This position is ideally suited for candidates with 2–3 years of relevant experience in an automotive OEM, strategic consultancy, or market intelligence role. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality research and analysis of the European automotive market to support corporate strategy, product planning, and business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and strategic analysis of the European automotive market, including macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and emerging mobility patterns.
- Monitor and evaluate automotive consumer behavior and demand trends across key European markets, providing data-driven insights to support localized strategies and product positioning.
- Track and interpret major automotive policy changes and industry initiatives within the EU and individual European countries, including regulations related to electrification, emissions, subsidies, and digitalization.
- Analyze competitive dynamics and market structures within Europe, identifying key OEM and new entrant strategies, distribution models, and innovation trends.
- Prepare regular intelligence reports, strategic briefings, and scenario-based forecasts to support internal decision-making at the regional and global level.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including strategy, product planning, public affairs, and sales, to ensure alignment between market insights and corporate objectives.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Automotive Engineering, International Relations, or a related field.2–3 years of professional experience in a strategy, market research, or policy analysis role within an automotive OEM or a reputable consulting firm.Solid understanding of theEuropean automotive landscape, including regulatory bodies (e.G., European Commission, ACEA), market differences across Western and Eastern Europe, and key trends such as electrification, autonomous driving, and mobility services.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills;ability to conveystrategic messages clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);experience with market databases or analytics platforms is a plus.
Fluency in English is required;knowledge of Chinese and one or more European languages (e.G., German, French, Italian) is an advantage.
