Location : Madrid, Spain

Work Setup : Hybrid (minimum 3 days on-site in Alcobendas, Madrid)

Engagement : 6-month rolling contract

Salary : €90,000 salary per annum

A leading international technology company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Counsel to join its legal team in Madrid. You will support high-value, cross-border transactions across the EMEA region, working in a fast-paced and commercially driven environment.

About the Role

You will take ownership of complex commercial negotiations and serve as a primary legal partner to business and sales teams. The environment is dynamic and agile, and success in this role depends on your ability to manage deals independently with minimal supervision.

The role requires excellent commercial judgment, the ability to draft and negotiate across different legal systems (English law preferred), and comfort working in a sales-oriented, delivery-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of major commercial contracts across technology and service lines.
• Support complex cross-border transactions, often under tight timelines and with multiple stakeholders.
• Navigate diverse legal frameworks across EMEA (English law and local laws).
• Collaborate with procurement, delivery, compliance, and finance teams on deal execution.
• Advise on risk management, contract structuring, and commercial strategy.
