We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build high-performing, high-throughput, and configurable platforms that form the backbone of our financial systems. These foundational platforms are critical to the entire organization, enabling teams across the company to release innovative products to our customers with speed and reliability.

Our Core Systems domain is dedicated to creating robust and scalable Core Systems that power the future of financial services. We believe in pushing technological boundaries, solving complex challenges, and fostering an environment where cutting-edge innovation is at the heart of everything. This is a hybrid role based in our Berlin or Barcelona offices.

In This Role, You Will

• Collaborate closely with your Tech Lead on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.
• Mentor junior team members by enforcing code quality through pull requests and helping them with questions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and propose findings during our Get Stuff Done Days.
• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards across the product.
