We are looking for a Backend Engineer who would like to grow with us!

As a Backend Engineer for the DAM AI Governance team at Bynder you will be part of a cross-functional product team who owns a customer facing product. You will work closely together with Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, UI / UX Engineers and Product Managers in the same team.

What will you do : Create a technical vision to bring the Bynder's platform and our way of working to the next level.

Write and maintain code, leading by example - mostly Java-based.

Work closely with product managers to build the product our users need.

Uphold best engineering practices.

Solicit and offer honest, constructive, direct, and actionable feedback - to help others learn and grow.

What will you bring as an Software Engineer : Minimum of 2+ years experience in Software Engineering.

Experience in developing and shipping a large-scale web application.

Experience implementing highly-available distributed systems / microservices.

Experience building scalable backend APIs.

Experience working with databases - relational and non.

Experience working with agile methodologies.

Experience with Automated Testing.

Experience with Continuous Delivery.

Bonuses : Knowledge of Frontend technologies or willingness to learn.
