Back End Software Development Engineer

Your mission as a Backend Software Engineer will be to design and build the robust, scalable, and high-performing backend systems that form the backbone of the PropHero platform. You will leverage your expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Serverless architecture to create the core APIs and services that ensure our user experience is seamless, secure, and reliable. Your contribution will be the critical foundation that allows our platform to function flawlessly, directly enabling our mission to make property investment simple and accessible for everyone.

Building high-quality systems : Develop and optimize robust backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Serverless architecture.

Work closely with frontend engineers, designers, and product managers to define technical requirements and deliver seamless features.

Improving performance : Ensure backend systems are optimized for scalability, performance, and reliability.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, applying SOLID principles and driving adherence to best practices in backend development.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.

Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with a proven track record of building and deploying robust, scalable backend services.

Hands-on experience with Serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda). General Skills :

Proactive and autonomous, with excellent communication skills for collaborating in a global, distributed team.

Proven use of AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery while maintaining high quality

Proficiency with Git for version control and knowledge of CI / CD pipelines.

Advanced English, as all internal communications are conducted in English within our globally distributed team.
