QA Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA professional to join our organization in Madrid.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our testing and monitoring strategy, ensuring that our applications are robust, well-tested, and observable in production.

Responsibilities

Test Automation

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of code and best practices in automated testing.

Build tools and infrastructure to support continuous testing.

Monitoring & Observability

Develop and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Evaluate system health and reliability through proactive alerting and incident response practices.

Partner with the team to define Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

DevOps & CI / CD

Contribute to the design and maintenance of GitLab CI / CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.) is essential.

Enhance development workflow efficiency through automation.

Key skills and experience

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a relevant full-time role.

A strong background in software development (experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#).

Experience with automated testing frameworks.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

Hands-on experience with GitLab CI / CD pipelines.

Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with developers, Business Analysts, and operations.

An understanding of financial markets - derivative products in particular would be beneficial.
