Ground Segment System Engineer

Overview

Location : Madrid (Work center in Arganda del Rey)

Modality : Hybrid (60% on-site)

Frequent travel : 2–3 short trips per month (1 to 4 days) across European countries

At Exceltic, we are looking for a Ground Segment System Engineer to join a top-tier team involved in multiorbital satellite constellations. You will work in a secure, international, and multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development of critical infrastructure for institutional and defense missions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Ground Segment System Engineering activities, especially in satellite communication constellations.
• Prepare technical documentation :
• Specifications
• Architecture and design documents
• Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Design Justification Files
• Define Ground Segment interfaces and support system Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
• Participate in technical reviews with customers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
