Purpose of the role To expand, plan and maintain the IT-infrastructure, to design and implement new applications in the IT-environment and to resolve structural problems in order to ensure that the continuity and efficiency of the IT-infrastructure meets the needs of the organization and in order to guarantee its optimum availability and adherence to agreed service levels.
Requirements Focus on Networking, Firewalls, Wireless & SD WAN
Experience in Aruba Cloud, Palo Alto & Cato Networks
Design and implement new offices. SDWAN, VPN, Firewall Rules, security and cloud provider management
Low-Level Design of the branch offices. Definition of the Hardware and cabling standards
Migration of branch offices : Installation and configuration of Firewalls, Switches and Access-Points of the migrated branch offices
Standardization of the processes : runbooks, documentation, designs, etc
Fluent English and Spanish
Well organized and able to analyze an IT problem in a short timeframe
User oriented, customer focus
Motivated to help people with IT problems
Good communicator
Capable to understand and accept the impact on the business
Love to work in a team, remote & onsite
Min. Bachelor ICT or similar by experience (+5 years)
15% availability for travel
Principal Responsibilities Offer second line support for incidents to restrict and prevent an interruption of IT services
Investigate the IT environment proactively to propose improvements in due time
Install and update procedures and design configurations to support the first and second line and ensure stability within service levels
On a rotating basis, help ensure continuous service order to guarantee agreed service levels
Be responsible for technical realizations and handle necessary installations and configurations of hardware and software to implement IT infrastructure successfully
Conduct feasibility studies and assess different software and hardware solutions that meet network / systems / security infrastructure needs
Inform, train and guide 1st line support engineers to ensure systems are used efficiently
Stay informed about evolutions in the field to strengthen credibility with updated knowledge
