Overview

The client is a recruitment consultancy specialising in the renewable energy sector, connecting professionals with companies worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Carry-out financial modelling activities addressing all commercial, technical, and financial parameters of the projects, including project valuation for acquisition, preparation of tenders, debt financing structuring, monitoring of under construction and operational assets, financial close, and asset sale processes.
  • Perform profitability calculations, sensitivity analyses and stress tests.
  • Contribute to the development of the investment strategy with senior team members; support in debt and equity investment processes, sourcing and screening opportunities, due diligence, documentation review and negotiation.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., project teasers, updates, investment committee papers, investment memoranda, business cases, market analysis).
  • Collaborate with internal functions (tax and accounting, asset management, technical, legal) to ensure successful investment execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Finance or other quantitative / technical field. Master’s in finance or MBA and / or CFA is valuable.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in business development, corporate finance, financial advisory or debt structuring.
  • Familiarity with structured finance, non-recourse financing structures, and M&A execution processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills with demonstrable financial modelling experience (building models from scratch); experience with Visual Basic is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • English and Spanish language proficiency is required; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy sector, including PPAs, project development, SHA / SPA / DSA, construction, and asset management is desirable.
