Main Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development : Develop and maintain global IT roadmaps for the Culinary and Commercial functions, aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.

Partner with function leaders to support prioritization and investment planning for technology initiatives.

Participate in annual IT budget planning, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders.

Business Partnership & Relationship Management : Serve as the principal liaison between IT and the Culinary and Commercial functions, promoting IT capabilities and fostering trust-based relationships.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into IT initiatives and actionable plans.

Champion IT’s role in achieving business goals and ensure business alignment throughout the solution lifecycle.

Solution Delivery & Innovation : Identify and assess opportunities for new technology solutions that enhance business performance and customer value.

Facilitate decision-making on technology trade-offs and ensure alignment with architectural and operational standards.

Support the development of business cases for proposed IT investments.

Vendor and Resource Coordination : Manage relationships with third-party vendors supporting the Culinary and Commercial IT landscape.

Coordinate internal and external IT resources to ensure efficient and timely project execution.

Governance & Compliance : Ensure that proposed solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.

Monitor solution effectiveness and facilitate continuous improvement based on business feedback and evolving needs.

Act as an escalation point for critical IT service issues within the Culinary and Commercial domains.

Balance business expectations with IT capabilities and budget constraints to optimize service levels and support responsiveness.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field preferred

Work Experience

8 years of IT and business / industry work experience.

3 years of leadership experience

3 years developing and executing strategic plans and / or project portfolios

3 years experience directly managing Customer accounts or relationships

Culinary and / or commercial experience is an advantage

Technical / Language Skills

Solid understanding of ITIL processes

Broad (general) knowledge of the concepts, standards, technology, tools, procedures, hardware, software and services in use for delivering IT Services

Sound knowledge of applications and technologies used to support the main business processes

Knowledge of the structure and processes within IT services

Excellent English skills, any other major language preferred, but not required

Exposure to formal process design and improvement methodologies beneficial
