Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS / Terraform)

About the role

We are looking for a

Senior DevOps Engineer

to collaborate with one of our international clients’ engineering teams. You will play a key role in

designing, building, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines , ensuring secure, scalable, and automated environments. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and data teams to streamline delivery processes, drive DevOps excellence, and enable continuous innovation across global cloud environments.

What you’ll do

Design, implement, and manage

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using

Terraform

across AWS and Azure. Build and optimize

CI / CD pipelines

using

GitHub Actions , ensuring automation, testing, and deployment best practices. Manage and evolve

cloud infrastructure

aligned with best practices in

security, scalability, and cost efficiency . Develop

automation scripts

in

Python and TypeScript

to enhance deployment reliability and operational performance. Configure

GitHub repositories , define

branching strategies

(GitFlow or trunk-based), and set up review and protection rules. Deploy and maintain

monitoring, logging, and observability tools

(CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus) to ensure system health. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the

full software delivery lifecycle . Participate in

incident response and postmortem analysis , promoting continuous improvement and reliability.

Must Have

6+ years

of experience in

DevOps / Cloud Engineering . Strong hands-on experience with

AWS

(IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, networking). Expertise in

Terraform

and Infrastructure as Code automation at scale (modules, remote states, validation tools). Deep understanding of

CI / CD pipelines

and workflow automation using

GitHub Actions . Strong scripting and automation skills in

Python

and

TypeScript . Solid understanding of

networking, security, and DevSecOps principles . Experience in

Linux / Unix environments . Fluent in

English and Spanish , both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

Experience with

multi-cloud environments

(AWS + Azure). Familiarity with

Docker

and

Kubernetes . Knowledge of

AI / ML or Data Science platforms . Exposure to

GitHub Copilot ,

Terragrunt ,

Airflow , or

dbt . Background in

cloud-native security and compliance automation .
