As a Technical Support Engineer at Comba Telecom, you will be responsible for delivering expert-level post-sales technical support on hardware and software across our portfolio of wireless communication solutions, including repeaters, DAS, Open RAN, and small cell systems. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing hands-on support, troubleshooting, training, and technical consultation. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our R&D, product, and marketing teams to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of our solutions.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive post-sales technical support on hardware for Comba wireless products, including repeaters, DAS, Open RAN, and small cell systems.
Support the sales and marketing teams in technical pre-sales activities such as solution design, product testing, proposal preparation, and on-site product installation and commissioning.
Deliver technical training to partners, customers, and internal teams; participate in product exhibitions, demos, and technical seminars.
Troubleshoot and resolve product and system issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
Maintain regular communication with the R&D team to stay updated on product developments and technology trends; ensure technical knowledge is continuously updated.
Qualifications
3+ years' of technical support experience (hardware and software)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal and troubleshooting skills
Able to travel across countries to support customer deployments and training (mainly Europe).
Hands-on experience in wireless telecommunications, especially in the deployment and maintenance of telecom network infrastructure.
Prior experience working on telecom network rollouts (domestic or international) is highly desirable.
Background in wireless engineering or network optimization is an advantage.
Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
Based in Madrid is preferred, though not mandatory.
