Legal Intern

Purpose of the Role:

Develop, practise and gain experience in a wide range of legal matters, including contentious and non-contentious work, with a focus on intellectual property law.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft prelitigation letters to infringers
• Active follow up on reported infringements and violations of the company’s IPR
• Keep track of upcoming deadlines
• Maintenance and control of disputes database
• Assisting with the preparation of litigation files
• Legal research: monitoring trademarks and designs legislation together with national and European case law
• General assistance on all legal issues and in particular those in connection with the retail business
• Assist in the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements
• Liaising with external counsel in multiple jurisdictions
• Perform administrative duties within the legal department, including document management, organizing meetings, and handling general communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Law Degree
• High level of English.
• Overall broad legal knowledge and in particular of the IP field.
• International experience is a plus.
