The Role and Candidate We are looking for a naturally confident Store Manager to lead the opening of our new store in the heart of Madrid. This role is ideal for someone with experience in retail or luxury fashion, who thrives on building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will take full ownership of the store launch, from staff recruitment and pre-opening preparation to daily operations and sales performance, shaping the store culture from day one.
Responsibilities :
Support the area manager in daily activities by actively contributing to the design of the Store's commercial and HR strategy.
Manage your shop comprehensively, including planning, implementing, and monitoring measures to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
Ensure and collaborate in the implementation of merchandising standards and optimize sales space to maximize profitability.
Manage the warehouse by maintaining correct stock levels in line with product replenishment cycles and merchandising strategies.
Possess good product and fashion knowledge. Know and apply brand and seasonal visual merchandising standards.
Supervise customer reception, ensuring it aligns with POP MART guidelines.
Coordinate commercial and organizational activities such as animations, events, new launches, and CRM campaigns.
Train new team members and support their growth and development in collaboration with the team.
Act as a role model and promote effective communication within the sales team.
Monitor team performance using KPIs and achievement of personal and store objectives, motivating the team to reach targets.
Analyze customer behavior KPIs (entrances, average receipt, pieces per receipt, etc.) and act accordingly.
Ensure the achievement of departmental budget and targets.
Apply company procedures, safety regulations, and commercial policies established by central services.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Citizenship or Work Permit required.
At least 5-8 years of experience in similar roles (Assistant Store Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor, Key Holder), preferably in dynamic multinational retail or luxury fashion contexts.
Knowledge of main trade KPIs, confidence in budget management, analysis, and daily reporting.
Agility, dynamism, and problem-solving skills.
Strong results orientation.
High predisposition for team management, guiding teams towards objectives, and fostering team spirit.
Degree (bachelor's or master's) preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Spanish and English.
Strong knowledge of Excel.
Desirable (Not Essential) Knowledge of CEGID
