IT Systems Engineer - (Hybrid) - Madrid

Overview

Principal Consultant | Semiconductor, Automotive, Software Engineering — a fantastic opportunity for a driven IT Systems Engineer to join a leading Quantum AI company, developing solutions that deliver real-world impact for global clients. You’ll be working alongside world-leading experts in quantum computing and AI, on cutting-edge solutions that make AI faster, greener, and more accessible.

This is initially a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract, with scope to extend. Hybrid working from sites in Madrid or Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure in line with company guidelines and SOP.
• Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Implement warranty and support activities.
• Plan and implement system automation for better efficiency.
• Design, review, document and implement policies and procedures to maintain standardization of day-to-day IT functions.
• Support employees on daily office IT operations when needed.
• General software management and creation of users.
• Implement security best practices, including patching, access control and policies, endpoint protection, etc.
• Monitor and maintain office network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure secure and reliable access to internal resources via VPN.
