Job summary :

The Contract Manager Assistant will assist the Contract Department Manager by providing general administrative and contract support. This role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders for the execution and document management of client and vendor contracts, including review, migration, and cleanup of contractual data.

We seek a dynamic, ambitious, and energetic individual capable of taking on challenges in developing the Contracts Department. The ideal candidate should be open to cross-cultural communication and cooperation, proactive, and have a vision for contracting process development within a CRO.

Main Tasks of the Position :

Assist in developing and managing contracts and related processes for mid to large complex contracts, e.g., MSA, PSA / WO.

Manage project requirements, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with the Contract Manager and Project Team to resolve issues.

Support Contract Manager in planning contract timelines to ensure deadlines are met.

Generate reports on a scheduled basis or as required.

Develop a thorough understanding of and ensure compliance with all processes and policies related to contracts and proposals.

Perform research on various matters as needed.

Act as an internal project team interface, supporting project teams during contract negotiation and finalization stages.

Participate in customer meetings and task forces as required.

Provide advice, support, and guidance to project team members.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies :

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Healthcare, or related fields.

At least 1 year of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience considered.

Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages (e.g., German, Polish, French, Spanish) are a plus.

Knowledge of the CRO industry.

Strong administrative skills with high accuracy.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and understanding of costing models.

Good understanding of contract processes and ability to interpret budgets and protocols.

Proactive, adaptable to change, and a good planner capable of meeting deadlines.
