TOYOTOMI Co. , Ltd. is one of the world’s largest producers of heating appliances and a leading manufacturer of air conditioners and operates globally across Japan, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
We are now seeking a Sales Director to lead and expand operations in Spain and Portugal, with a strong focus on the professional distribution channel. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for commercial strategy, sales performance, and long-term client satisfaction.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Lead, manage, and inspire the sales teams in Spain and Portugal, ensuring alignment with TOYOTOMI’s strategic goals.
- Develop and implement a commercial strategy tailored to the professional distribution channel (wholesalers, installers, specifiers, and key partners).
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships.
- Maintain strong, trust-based client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the European Sales Director to ensure consistency with regional and global initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and KPIs, applying corrective measures when required.
- Represent TOYOTOMI at industry events, fairs, and networking opportunities.
FORMAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) highly valued.8–10 years of experience in sales and business development.Strong background in professional distribution channels, ideally in HVAC, electrical, or construction-related products.Experience managing multinational or cross-border teams.Proven track record in sales leadership.Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.Based in Madrid, with frequent travel required.CRITICAL COMPETENCIES :
