About our client

As they grow, they are looking for an Accounting & Finance Manager with emphasis on accounting to oversee and support the accounting operations of their Ukrainian office in Kyiv (preferred location of work is Zagreb, Croatia or at least part of the time). With a team of around 40 professionals in Ukraine, this role requires fluency in Ukrainian and English as well as expertise in Ukrainian accounting standards and tax regulations. It’s a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations while collaborating with both local and international teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Ukrainian accounting and tax regulations
- Supervise external accounting and oversee daily accounting and finance activities for the Ukrainian office
- Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of group reporting to the parent company
- Monitor cash flow, approve daily cash outflows, and manage FX differences
- Assist in annual audits
- Maintain communication with Ukrainian banks and financial institutions
- Collaborate with the Ukrainian and Croatian team to ensure efficient financial operations
