SAP FICO Finance and Controlling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO finance and controlling specialist with proven experience in the service industry to support major projects involving the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0.

This hybrid role involves on-site collaboration, remote flexibility, and adaptation of global SAP templates to meet specific financial, tax, and regulatory needs.

The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) with a deep understanding of service-based operational models, ensuring efficient and compliant solutions for multinational environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the service industry-focused rollout of SAP ECC 6.0, ensuring alignment between global templates and local requirements.
• Analyze business processes in a service context and design effective SAP FICO solutions.
• Configure and maintain core FICO functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, PS Project systems.
• Adapt solutions to ensure compliance with Spanish and Swiss legal, tax, and reporting regulations.
• Work closely with service delivery, operations, and finance teams to optimize financial and controlling processes.
• Participate in all project phases : fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, documentation, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with international project teams and travel to locations as required.
