Senior Data Engineer (Engineer III)

At ING we are looking for a Data Engineer.

Your role and work environment :

We seek a talented and enthusiastic Data Engineer to join our DataLake Team within Data Management.

The Data Management Tribe aims to be Data Best-in-class by ensuring the right data is in the right place at the right time for the right people to ignite the Data Spark.

In this role, you will be part of an international project, collaborating across countries, in a Cloud & DevOps environment.

You will focus on maintaining and evolving our informational platforms used for Data Management, Regulatory & Analytical Reporting at ING.

We operate in an Agile & DevOps environment, utilizing Scrum & Kanban within our One Agile Way of Working. You will be part of a Scrum Team, working in two-week sprints, using Azure as a key tool for our SDLC, while managing IT Risk.

Your key responsibilities :

• Ensure best practices in technical design, ETL process development, and informational solution modeling.
• Monitor end-to-end processes, ensure their operation, identify technical issues, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Maintain platform sustainability, adhering to IT and Risk standards.
• Ensure ETL processes and informational solutions via Azure pipelines align with best practices.
• Analyze business needs and propose IT solutions.
• Collaborate with different areas to contribute to Spain ING Data Strategy.
