Overview

The New Business Team concentrates on greenfield accounts, acquiring completely new customers across various industries. You will be at the forefront of expanding our reach and driving growth in uncharted territories.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an integral part of Autodesk's sales team. You will drive the initial stages of the sales funnel by engaging prospective customers, responding promptly to inbound inquiries, qualifying leads, educating prospects, and scheduling meetings for Sales Representatives. You will develop a robust pipeline of leads, supporting Autodesk’s growth by transforming prospects into opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic communication.

We support hybrid working and you will report to the Director, Field Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries : Engage with prospective customers through email, chat, and phone, ensuring timely and informative responses to inquiries about Autodesk products
  • Qualify leads : Assess prospects' needs and pain points to gauge interest and potential for conversion
  • Build and maintain pipeline : Develop and sustain a pipeline of leads with consistent follow-up
  • Educate prospects : Explain Autodesk product features and value proposition and guide them through the initial sales process
  • Schedule meetings : Arrange appointments for Sales Representatives and Executives
  • Achieve outreach targets : Meet or exceed goals for calls, emails, and meetings booked
  • Record keeping : Maintain accurate notes in the CRM to ensure data integrity and informed decisions
  • Team collaboration : Participate in team meetings and collaborate to optimize outbound strategies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in SaaS or construction technology
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business fluency in English and French or German
  • Live within a commutable distance to either Barcelona or Dublin
