DevOps Engineer - Network and Security Startup

Mission Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer within our production department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-performance, stable technological infrastructure. You will work closely with our development teams and technical leads to design and deploy projects, while applying industry best practices and standards. You will also play a key role in managing and coordinating technical teams.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Implementation & Maintenance

~ Design, deploy, and maintain system infrastructures, ensuring stability, performance, and security.

Deployment Automation

Create and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines to streamline development and delivery cycles.

Automate and optimize development and deployment processes.

Configuration Management

~ Effectively manage configurations to guarantee system consistency and reliability.

Performance Optimization

~ Monitor and enhance application and server performance to deliver an optimal user experience.

Security & Compliance

Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Protect systems against cybersecurity threats.

DevOps Practices

Ensure adherence to best practices in administration and DevOps.

Collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Conduct continuous technology watch across all relevant domains (Dev, Ops, DevOps, quality, etc.).

Team Management

Supervise and coordinate a technical team to ensure successful project delivery.

Foster teamwork and cross-team collaboration.

Support team members’ professional growth and skills development.

Manage priorities and allocate tasks according to project needs.

Technical Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in an Admin / DevOps environment.

Strong background in system administration (mainly Linux).

Proficiency with virtualization and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Proxmox VE, etc.).

Solid knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and PHP ecosystems.

Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).

Expertise in GitLab CI / CD or similar tools.

Familiarity with code quality tools (Sonar, Prettier, ESLint, etc.).

Interpersonal Skills

Fluency in French or English.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead a technical team and encourage collaboration.

Curiosity and initiative.

Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on industry trends.

Team-oriented mindset and effective problem-solving abilities.
