Job Description

The Product Manager is a key role in our business, working closely with the Technical Manager, C&I and CAD team and responsible for the design and evolution of our standard products.

As part of our TD team, we are looking for our new Product Manager for manage the product life cycle of our water treatment products:

• To develop, design, standardise and improve skid-mounted units in conjunction with market expectations briefed by the market specialists and experts of the group.
• Work closely with the Customer Service and Procurement teams to support product design evolutions until BOMs update.
• Contribute to our products and offers inside and outside Veolia.
• Investigate regularly the expectations of our clients and the innovations of our suppliers.
• Support technically VWT’s workshop to manufacture and improve standard products.
• Support customer service by sizing and designing pre-engineered systems (tender and execution phases) to support the Business Development teams.
• Produce and manage technical and sales documentation for several product lines.
• Contribute to Veolia’s Business Units around the world to sell, install and operate the products in support of the Business Development teams.
• Technical Support for the Business Development team in the request for quotations (RFQ) stage e.g specs, product definition
• Follow the TD methodology defined in our Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level preferably with a relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Mandatory water treatment experience and expertise.
• Experience and skills in Process Water treatment (Chemical Process, and treatment steps performances)
• General engineering (Hydraulic, mechanical design, suppliers knowledge, software and CAD understanding).
• Knowledge and experience in industrial water treatment processes is a plus (Softening, Reverse Osmosis, Electro deionisation, ion exchange…)
• A strong interest in Product Management (Product Life Cycle, Standardization).
• Experience in project management would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to express information in a clear and concise manner.
• The candidate must be fluent in English, French and Spanish (is Mandatory)
• Working knowledge of either French, German or Mandarin would be a plus.
• Ability to focus and retain analytical judgment under the pressure of deadlines.
