Network Engineer - Fluent English

Our client is creating a technological hub that will serve the entire group globally. This hub is in San Cugat del Vallés.We are looking for a Senior Network Operations Engineer to join their global team and ensure the stability and performance of their network infrastructure.What would your duties be?Monitor and maintain global network infrastructure to guarantee high availability and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues across data centers and remote sites.Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline operational tasks and reporting.Support and manage Cisco ACI fabric environments, including policy configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.Administer and optimize load balancing solutions (F5, Citrix ADC, or similar).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network changes, deployments, and incident resolution.Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Which are the requirements for this position?Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting tasks.Familiarity with monitoring tools (Microfocus, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar).Fluent in English (written and spoken).Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management tools (ServiceNow).Experience : 3+ years in network operations or NOC roles.Hands-on experience with networking devices (Router, Switch, Firewall, WLC).Experience with Cisco ACI fabric and SDN technologies.Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).Experience with load balancing technologies (F5, Citrix ADC, HAProxy).Knowledge of Proxies and network automation frameworks (Python, Ansible, Netmiko).What do we offer?Stable project with a permanent contract through Hays.Hybrid model.
