At E-Frontiers we're on the lookout for a DevOps engineer to join a growing product company based in several European regions, with heardquarters in Switzerland. As part of their team, you'll be in charge of all SRE and Infrastructure related issues, working closely with other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Manage AWS cloud-native systems with automation and modern tooling.

Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters, pipelines, and service meshes.

Build and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable SaaS infrastructure.

Define and track SLOs / SLAs, ensuring availability and performance.

Use Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) for repeatable provisioning.

Develop platform tools and automation for efficiency and monitoring.

Monitor systems to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences.

Participate in on-call rotation, lead incidents, and drive resolutions.

Improve incident response, reducing detection and recovery times.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with minimal escalation.

Collaborate with engineers to embed reliability and observability.

Automate runbooks, health checks, alerts, and release processes.

Enable safe deployments with testing, canaries, and rollback strategies.

Support security, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years as an SRE or Platform Engineer with strong software engineering background.

Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) supporting SaaS products.

Proficiency in programming / scripting (Python, Go, Bash) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and microservices architectures.

Skilled in CI / CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

Solid knowledge of Linux, networking (TCP / IP, VPN), and cloud architectures (VPC, firewalls, load balancers).

Experience with monitoring / observability tools (e.g., Datadog) and incident management.

Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies (blue / green, canary) and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; fluent in English.
