Descripción del trabajoStrong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) and CI / CD automation. Solid understanding of observability stacks and cloud networking. Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) is a plus. Hybrid work model – 2 days per week in the office. Permanent, full‑time contract. Opportunity to work in a global IT hub and drive innovation for a leading retail company. Overview
For a prestigious manufacturing company in Barcelona, we are recruiting a Senior GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer to support millions of customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a multi‑cloud Kubernetes platform to support multiple domains and squads.
- Architect and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of critical digital products.
- Automate CI / CD pipelines and adopt GitOps practices.
- Monitor and observe systems using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, and OpenTelemetry.
- Secure cloud networking and enforce security best practices.
