AIT Manager - Satellite Business Line
Job Description
The AIT Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of the Assembly, Integration and Test activities definition, preparation and execution of the Instrument, Payload and Satellite Programs in the frame of the Spacecraft Production Spain organization with the support of its different Spacecraft Production and Supporting Functions areas. The AIT Manager has a technical, development and programmatic interface with the Engineering and Program lines.
Responsibilities
- Management of the Instrument, Payload and Satellite AIT activities to ensure the On Quality, On Time, On Cost deliveries according to commitments.
- Support the co‑engineering process during preliminary and detailed design phases for the Development Plan, Model Philosophy, Design to AIT and Verification Process definition.
- Definition and maintenance of the Instrument / Payload or Satellite AIT Plan.
- Interface with Engineering to manage the AIT contribution to the Test Specification development.
- Coordinate and manage the AIT Mechanical, Electrical, Functional and RF engineering and execution activities definition, optimization and implementation.
- Coordinate and manage the GSE architecture definition, specification and development follow‑up.
- Coordinate and manage the Test Facilities requirements specification and technical interface follow‑up and support the procurement process.
- AIT activities coordination, planning and cost control.
- Interface with the Programme for changes management.
- AIT resources plan definition and maintenance.
- Support Logistics and manage Critical Transports.
- Instrument / Payload or Satellites Environmental Test Campaign coordination and management.
- Satellite Launch Campaign coordination and management.
- Participation in formal reviews with the Customer.
- Monitoring and reporting the execution of the AIT plan.
Skills
Education : Engineering degree.Experience : Demonstrated experience in Instrument, Payload or Satellite production, cost management, planning, resources management and change management.Technical knowledge : Instrument, Payload or Satellites AIT activities and processes, quality standards.Soft skills : Customer‑facing, leadership, team management, analytic and decision‑making skills, quality‑oriented improvement mindset, teamwork and communication.Languages : Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English.Working conditions : Flexible working time in normal shift, occasional early / late / night shifts, weekend work may be required, time flexibility, flexibility to work abroad during specific AIT phases.Benefits
