Senior Construction Manager

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Minimum 15 or more years of experience in Construction projects.

Experienced in dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors.

Proven track record as a Senior Construction Manager on related projects.

Strong technical background with at least 2 full life cycle project experiences working on a Project Management team.

Background in industrial construction projects.

Familiarity with local authority requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead Construction Supervision Consultant, and monitor the deliverables of the consultant.

Supervise and coordinate with QAQC and HSE Managers to ensure goals are met.

Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning.

Represent Employer and PMC on-site for Authority inspections and approvals.

Identify, assess, and prioritize the risk to the project, and report the consequences.

Technically assess variations, Value Engineering, engineer instructions, and changes in regulation by local authorities and advise on cost and time impact.

Monitor planned submission dates and record delays if any, and follow up on materials procurement and delivery.

Inform themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.

Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager / supervisor.
