Overview
Prima is expanding its Compliance Area in Spain and is looking for a Compliance Manager to work with the Global Team. You will advise, support the implementation, and monitor compliance of activities and processes against applicable regulations. You will support regulatory aspects related to contract negotiations significant for Prima’s business in Spain and collaborate with the Global Chief Compliance Officer, the Country Manager, and business functions to manage insurance regulatory context, consumer protection activities, and legal counsel.
What you will do
- Continuously review, implement and maintain the company\'s internal control and risk management system, identify activities and processes exposed to compliance risks, review internal regulations to manage those risks, and monitor their implementation.
- Monitor regulatory developments related to Prima\'s activity in Spain.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to all teams and business functions on regulatory matters, supporting projects and activities from which compliance risks may arise, and adopt safeguards to protect consumers; develop and implement plans or actions to ensure ongoing proper management of compliance risks.
- Provide legal counsel in projects and activities that the Spain teams work on, reviewing documents, goals and necessities.
- Support relevant business functions in the management of distribution processes and consumer relations.
- Support all data protection and privacy topics to ensure alignment with group policies and local regulations, with support from Group Compliance, Legal and Data Protection functions and external experts when necessary.
Who we are looking for / Qualifications
Law degree.4–7 years of related experience in insurance regulation / compliance, with expertise in insurance distribution activities.Knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.Knowledge and understanding of the insurance regulatory framework.Fit with our values : Make it happen; proactive and problem-solving attitude; openness to helping the company reach its objectives.Location & Benefits
