Job Description Summary

The Staff Accountant ensures that all A / P transactions are properly approved and posted regularly. The role includes maintaining documentation for all supplier invoices and payments, managing prepayments, and performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.

THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE This position focuses on invoice processing, vendor management, A / P reporting, and ERP system knowledge (NetSuite, Tipalti). It involves less exposure to payroll, tax, or full financial reporting, making it suitable for an early to mid-career accountant focusing on A / P operations and prepayment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure all vendor bills are properly approved and posted in Tipalti and NetSuite.

Post prepayments and maintain the schedule monthly.

Prepare payables reports.

Respond to vendor inquiries.

Assist in the month-end closing process as needed.

Manage electronic and paper filing of all vendor bills.

Assist the Accounting Manager – Europe or other team members whenever required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an accounting role.

Strong customer service orientation.

Intermediate Excel and MS Word skills.

Excellent organizational skills for success in a fast-paced, growing environment with changing priorities.

Solutions-oriented, detail-oriented, tech-savvy.

Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, less structured environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.

Knowledge of Netsuite and Tipalti is preferred.

Ability to work under pressure.

Team player.

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS Standard office conditions including sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and computer use. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Flexibility to work from home or in the office.

Languages : English

Education : Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting
