General Ledger Manager (Geely Auto Brand)

General Ledger Manager (Geely Auto Brand) Direct Manager responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the general ledger and ensuring compliance with local regulations and IFRS standards. The role includes leading a local finance team, executing monthly and annual closing activities, supporting audits, and liaising with external parties.

Responsibilities

Lead local compliance implementation and report any risks or activities to management.

Manage and train the local finance team.

Assist the head of finance department in effective management of financial resources.

Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations and accounting activities, including communication of issues and opportunities.

Execute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities; prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate closure.

Assist in the development of financial and accounting systems.

Supervise, monitor, and solve day‑to‑day operational problems.

In charge of annual audit schedule to support Group and statutory audit.

Liaise with internal and external parties (government, auditors, regulators) on finance related and compliance matters.

Undertake ad‑hoc assignments as required by management.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience, preferably in Multinational Companies or Big 4.

Good knowledge of local financial standards and IFRS.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Automotive industry experience preferred.

Experience with SAP is preferred.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Strong sense of responsibility, target‑oriented, solid analytical ability.
