Role Overview We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Programmer to join our SAP development team in Madrid as part of a major SAP ECC 6.0 rollout project. This hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility and requires close coordination with functional consultants and business stakeholders. The position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces and custom developments to support integration and business process needs in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs within the SAP ECC 6.0 landscape.
Build and enhance interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDoc, BAPI, RFC, ALE, and Web Services.
Collaborate with functional teams (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support integration projects, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and system performance.
Debug, optimize, and refactor ABAP code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developments, enhancements, and interfaces.
Provide support throughout project phases including testing, go-live preparation, and post-go-live stabilization.
Collaborate with international teams to ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming within an ECC 6.0 environment.
Strong expertise in interface technologies : IDoc, BAPI, RFC, ALE, and Web Services.
Solid knowledge of ABAP Objects, ALV, SmartForms, and SAPscript.
Experience integrating SAP ECC with external systems.
Spanish : Fluent | English : Advanced.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multicultural team environment.
Nice to Have Experience with proxy-based interfaces or SAP PI / PO integration.
Knowledge of SAP Enhancement Framework, User Exits, and BAdIs.
Experience with Adobe Forms.
Exposure to international SAP rollout projects.
Familiarity with functional processes in SAP FI, CO, MM, or SD.
