LiveOps Tooling - Senior QA Analyst for Monopoly GO! – Barcelona, Spain (hybrid).

Scopely is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join the Monopoly Go! team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis.

Monopoly GO! is a key Scopely title with a global player base. The team is based in Europe and the US and works daily to create engaging experiences for players.

What You Will Do

Reporting into the Vertical Group QA Manager, you will support the quality efforts for our Live Operations Tooling team working on MonopolyGo!

You will collaborate with fellow QA Analysts to facilitate LiveOps Tooling enhancements from concept to post-release maintenance. You will apply a range of tools and methodologies to ensure the highest standards of quality are consistently met.

As a key contributor to Scopely's quality culture, you will help shape how we iterate to success and evolve our ways of working.

• Ensure your pod’s contributions to each release meet high quality standards, focusing on defect prevention and overall user experience, while maintaining a broad view of release quality across the wider team
• Develop clear and comprehensive test plans for LiveOps Tooling defining scope, time estimates, resourcing, tooling / cheat needs, and requirements to test from concept to release
• Drive the creation, upkeep, and execution of test suites and cases tailored to your pod’s needs and evolving scope
• Maintain a clean and prioritized bug database aligned with your pod’s work
• Lead onboarding of external embedded QA resources into your pod, ensuring setup for success and alignment with internal processes
• Take ownership of your pod’s quality output by leading through example, performing hands-on testing, and ensuring accountability
• Raise pre-production quality concerns by reviewing briefs and design documents, championing a shift-left approach
• Develop and maintain understanding of MonopolyGo!’s core mechanics to support the broader Game QA team as needed
• Collaborate with the LiveOps team to investigate live issues, advocate for timely resolutions, and address root causes to prevent recurrence
• Adhere to QA governance and best practices, aligning with the project lifecycle from inception through post-release support
• Participate in pod and QA ceremonies, provide feedback, and align with team strategies
• Collaborate with developers to understand scope changes and assess cross-functional impacts on quality
• Contribute to annual reviews by giving feedback and pursuing professional growth
• Model Scopely’s core tenets through actions, communication, and leadership
• Work with QA Leadership to standardise processes and provide feedback for improvements
• Support QA Leadership in achieving team goals through ownership and tracking of KPIs / OKRs
