As a Senior SAP BTP Developer (m / f / d), you will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions in the SAP BTP environment, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, frontend developers, and product teams to deliver high-impact, scalable enterprise solutions. Your role will focus on building robust solutions using SAP BTP and AWS, with opportunities to work across both platforms. The goal is to build products so you will be responsible for the control of the product lifecycle in all its stages : design, architecture setup, prototyping and development with a continuous delivery orientation.

Your responsibilities :

• Designing and developing complex, robust, scalable and secure SAP BTP solutions that meet the functional and technical needs of the product; also integrating with other SAP modules and third-party services.
• Building, integrating and deploying state-of-the-art architectures for SAP applications on SAP BTP and designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions using SAP BTP tools, such as SAP Cloud SDK and APIs.
• Setting the necessary guidelines to be aligned with SAP strategy for the architecture and design of SAP BTP solutions.
• Working in an iterative CI / CD DevOps environment, focused on products releases and their evolution.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UX / UI designers, and architects to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend systems.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for data exchange between SAP BTP and other external systems.
• Staying up to date on the latest SAP BTP features and industry trends. Be aware that this is an R&D role, so a proactive and innovation-oriented mindset is expected.
• Elaborating technical documentation and taking part in the elaboration of the functional documentation.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in development, security, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the SAP BTP environment, providing production support when needed.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements in line with industry standards.

Your profile :

Mandatory Requirements :

Nationality or Work Authorization : Spanish or Portuguese nationality, or alternatively a permanent work permit / VISA for Spain or Portugal.

Language Proficiency : Advanced level of Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
