Network Operations Engineer (Cisco / Palo Alto) – Remote in Spain
Are you a hands-on Network Operations Engineer who loves solving real-world connectivity challenges? Join a global technology leader as the first line of defence for user connectivity — supporting employees, troubleshooting issues, and keeping the campus network running smoothly.
Location : Spain (mostly remote – 1–2 days / month in Barcelona or Malaga depending on candidate preference)
Contract : Initial 12 months (strong extension potential)
What You’ll Do
Be the go-to expert for end-user network connectivity and troubleshooting
Maintain and configure Cisco StackWise campus switches
Manage Palo Alto Networks firewall policies and operations
Configure and maintain Cisco VLANs / trunking
Act as escalation point for EMEA network operations
Assist with Cisco Nexus / ACI and SD-WAN troubleshooting
Participate in network security incident response
What You’ll Bring
Hands-on experience with Cisco StackWise (daily operational use)
Palo Alto firewall experience (ACE or PCNSE preferred)
Cisco SD-WAN implementation and troubleshooting experience
Strong end-user network support background (NOC, managed services, or campus ops)
Excellent English (C1) communication for user-facing support
Practical troubleshooting methodology and attention to detail
