The project!
The Product Merchandising Manager, Womenswear is responsible for developing and executing strategic merchandising plans for the womenswear category, ensuring optimal product assortment and sales performance. This role requires a deep understanding of womenswear trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics. The manager will collaborate closely with buying, design, marketing and sales / commercial teams to drive sales and maximize profitability within the womenswear division.
What will the role entail?
Develop and execute seasonal merchandising strategies for womenswear, aligned with brand identity and business goals.
Analyze sales data, trends, and market insights to create well-balanced, data-driven assortment plans across all categories.
Collaborate with buying teams to select trend-relevant, commercially viable products that meet customer needs and brand standards.
Develop accurate sales forecasts, analyze sell-through performance, and collaborate with planning teams to ensure timely delivery of womenswear products.
Conduct continuous market and trend research at global and local levels, analyze competitor activity, and monitor industry events to inform womenswear strategy and identify emerging customer preferences.
Analyze sales and inventory data to evaluate product performance, generate KPI reports, and deliver actionable insights to enhance womenswear merchandising strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with buying, design, planning, marketing, and sales teams to align on business objectives and effectively communicate product performance and merchandising updates to stakeholders.
