Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our engineering efforts across product areas.

What You'll Do

  • Technical Leadership : Guide architecture and technical decisions to ensure scalability and best practices. Identify roadblocks and implement solutions to keep teams on track.
  • Team Development : Plan team growth, recruit, mentor, and motivate engineers while fostering a strong feedback culture.
  • Performance Management : Evaluate and enhance team performance through regular feedback culture.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Align with the Area Product Owner and Engineering Managers on long-term strategy and OKRs.
  • Process Optimisation : Improve workflows to elevate team efficiency. Lead the team through evolving challenges and drive innovation.
  • Hands-On Support : Participate in code reviews, system design, and occasional coding to coach the team.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of successfully leading and scaling cross-functional development teams with backend and frontend scope as an Engineering Manager
  • Outstanding expertise in software development and architecture design, experience with high load is a plus
  • Familiarity with PHP as a developer or a manager
  • Track record of improving development engineering processes and increasing team efficiency. Ability to foster trustful relationships with Product organisation and Engineering managers.
  • Experience in Agile values and principles
