The Opportunity
An innovative and fast-scaling company in the electric vehicle (EV) charging space is seeking a
Business Development Manager
to spearhead growth in the Spanish market.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the clean energy transition while working in a flexible hybrid setup from Barcelona.
The company provides smart EV charging solutions that enable customers to optimize energy usage, lower emissions, and access cleaner transportation.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop new business opportunities with installers, distributors, and mobility partners in Spain
Manage the complete B2B sales cycle-from lead generation to closing deals
Achieve revenue targets across both hardware and recurring software services
Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your client base
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to shape go-to-market strategy
Share customer insights with internal teams to help improve offerings
Candidate Profile
Required :
Solid background in B2B sales or business development, ideally within EV, clean tech, or energy sectors
Proven success managing sales pipelines and meeting commercial goals
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships
Ability to explain technical products in an accessible and engaging way
Native-level Spanish and fluent English
Based in or near Barcelona, with openness to a hybrid work model
Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
Nice to Have :
Genuine passion for sustainability and the EV industry
Experience working with installer networks or distribution partners in Spain
